The first: “Read the Book of Enoch.” The second, sixteen minutes later: an image of Madonna and Child with the Infant St John — the 15th-century Domenico Ghirlandaio painting nicknamed the “Madonna of the UFO” because of a disc-shaped object glowing in its background sky.

The Book of Enoch is an ancient Jewish text — written between 300 and 100 BC — describing the Watchers, a group of angels who descended to Earth, mated with human women, and produced the Nephilim, a race of giants. It was excluded from most biblical canons in the fourth century. Luna has argued repeatedly on podcasts that it was suppressed precisely because it documented contact with non-human intelligence — what she has elsewhere called “interdimensional beings.”
